This classic raglan sweater is knit from the top down and in the round. It is designed to be

worm with a 5-10cm/2-4’' of positive ease for a comfortable, relaxed fit - enough, roomy fit

for your the loves one. DK/light worsted yarn weight makes a sturdy versatile garment

perfect for everyday wear.

First the neckline is knitted in rows, while increases on both sides shape the neckline

opening. At the same time, increases for the shoulders are made at the four raglan lines.

The sweater is worked in stockinette stitch with a textured pattern and decorative strips in

contrasting color around in it upper parts of body and textured upper part of sleeves.

Neckline is worked in so-called ''pocket'' method - stitches for neck ribbing are picked up

over the right side and over the wrong side in the same time using 2 pair of circular

needles then worked separately and bind together using 3-needle transition method. The

neckline is finished by adding some rounds in ribbing pattern.

Since sweater is knitted from the top down you can easily adjust the length of the sleeves

and body during you work on it for better fit.
